Writing + Speaking
= Teaching
Lee Carlson is an entertaining and thought-provoking speaker whose engaging personality never fails to captivate audiences. He began his speaking career 25 years ago when, as a journalist, he was asked to speak as an expert on topics he covered, including business and travel.
After Passage to Nirvana was published, librarians and book store managers told Lee that he attracted some of the largest audiences they ever had, and Lee understood that the powerful and inspirational themes of Passage to Nirvana needed to be delivered in person, as well as on the printed page.
Now as an author, Zen teacher, brain injury survivor, and business owner, Lee is regularly asked to speak to groups on a variety of topics, from teaching medical groups about the importance of compassion in medicine, to teaching students about the effects of Traumatic Brain Injury, to giving talks on spirituality, to teaching about writing, to Lee’s favorite topic: learning to succeed when all the odds seem stacked against you.
